ENTRÉ LOCAL
is an exploratory aerial video series that examines how humans arrange themselves within the urban, suburban, and natural habitats around the globe.
Humans are inherently nomadic and incredibly capable to adapt to various environments. Unlike any other species, We are everywhere. Yet, how we live, what we do, how we think, and also how we treat environments around us changes dramatically from place to place.
Through the context of individual places, we can observe patterns of our environments which can be decoded and translated to tell a deeper story of history and culture. Detached from the celebrated uniqueness and closeness of the individual, the aerial view offers a holistic perspective of who we are and how we live as a group, species, as people. This collection of perspectives offers a unique view of both the contemporary landscape of human environments but also tells a story of unique histories of people and places around the world.
